The most difficult part of this journey, although moving distressed homeowners forward and away from foreclosure is my goal, is the fact that many times the children are forced to leave their homes, their schools, friends and teachers.   Ultimately, children are very resilient and will rebound, sometimes for the better.  It is important that we remember the little ones while facilitating this process.   Parents are sometimes so overwhelmed with the day to day tribulations of losing a home, moving, finances, remind them that the process is involving all of the family members.  

In addition, many seniors may be living with their adult children and be negatively affected during the process.   Many communities have group therapy sessions and seminars to deal with the many emotional ups and downs.
